Optional Contactless Check-In for your safety...

Reston Radiology Consultants and MRI of Reston continues to focus on the health and concerns of our patients. In order to help minimize time in our facilities, we have implemented true contactless check-in at each of our Outpatient Imaging Centers.

On the day of your appointment, we will send you an automated text message 90 minutes prior to your exam start time. This message will contain instructions to arrive onsite 30 minutes prior to your exam. Once in our parking lot, please call the phone number provided in the text message to inform the front desk staff of your arrival. The staff will then send you a text message that contains the link to access the registration page. You will be able to complete the check-in process, as well as upload any necessary documents including Photo ID, Insurance Card(s), and/or Doctor’s Order from your cell phone. Additionally, you will be able to pay any charges due at time of service as well as sign same day required documents from your smart phone.

 

Once the Technologist is ready for your exam, we will text you to enter the Imaging Center. Once you have been notified via text, please proceed promptly to the facility. Time delays entering the Imaging Center could cause delays to appointment times. Please ensure you and any accompanying individuals are wearing a mask, or face covering. Once you enter the facility, please proceed to the front desk to have your temperature taken. This process will help the facility and patients to reduce, or eliminate wait times in common areas.

• If you decided, not to utilize the contactless check-in functionality you can still complete the registration process in-person via an iPad which is cleaned regularly.

• If you experience technical difficulties, we will need to have you complete your registration process in-person.  We will not be able to provide remote support.

• You may have to wait in the Imaging Center if any unforeseen issues arise.
